Welcome to Highland Sugarworks

Highland Sugarworks was founded in 1986 deep in the heart of Vermont’s Green Mountains. From the very beginning, our goal was to produce and distribute the finest maple syrup available. In addition to our own production we purchase syrup from other sugarmakers throughout Vermont and New England. It’s been a joy to work with these dedicated family farmers who faithfully stoke their sugarhouse evaporators each spring to carry on this time-honored tradition. We are proud to be able to help sustain family farms throughout New England.

Highland Estates Private Reserve

When it comes to select maple syrup, our limited edition Private Reserve is unmatched. Produced yearly in small batches from our private sugarbush in Starksboro, Vermont this is our signature syrup. Due to nature’s whims, the grade differs from year to year, but the same great taste remains.

Our irresistible Brrrton Bear is topped with a red knit cap that doubles as a fabulous ornament. His companion, Bentley Snowman, comes wrapped in a cheerful plaid scarf. Both come in 16.9-ounce bottles. The statuesque Evergreen bottles are available in 6.75- or 16.9-ounce sizes with either holiday or non-holiday tags. All are packed in Medium Amber Maple Syrup.
