Highland Sugarworks goes Organic with Certified Organic Oatmeal pancake mix

Websterville, VT, April 28, 1999 -- Highland Sugarworks, Inc. has added a fourth all-natural flavor to its successful line of pancake mixes. Since the introduction of their mix line in 1993, Highland Sugarworks has proven itself to be a player in the pancake mix arena. This new addition is sure to be a bestseller, especially in the natural marketplace and in the high-end specialty food market.

The oatmeal pancake mix is light, wholesome and has a wonderful texture. The mix is a combination of whole wheat, oat and corn flours. The rolled oats in the mix are from our friends at Eric & Andy's, and there's a little bit of organic sugar added. It's very nutritious, at 8 grams of protein and 7 grams of fiber per serving! It's easy to prepare and represents a new twist on breakfast that straddles two favorite categories -- cereal and mixes.

The mix is packaged in a 24-oz craft bag with the same eye-catching illustration as on the current Highland Sugarworks all-natural pancake mixes.
